Runescape: The Game for All Online Gamers

Welcome! Today I’ve decided to share a web site (well, it’s more the game on the web site) with you that I’ve recently discovered for today’s article, but I’d better warn you first that it can be very addicting.

The game is called Runescape, and it’s set in middle ages. You must first open the game, which may take a while, so I recommend downloading it to your computer to save time later. Once it has loaded in, choose which “world” you want to play in this time. There is no difference in the worlds, just the number of people on each one. I recommend picking the one with the least number of people, because it runs faster.

Since this is your first time playing, you have to choose a name for yourself. Choose something you’ll remember, but something that’s original so it won’t be taken already. Now it’s time to choose what you want to look like. Since we’re all girls here, choose a female body, although the clothing isn’t the bet, and choose what clothes and hair you want. Then choose what occupation you want as your starter. It doesn’t matter which one you choose, really, except that what you have when you start depends on your choice. You can still do all of the different skills in the game. (I recommend starting as a warrior. It’s better.)

When you first start, I would recommend you talk to the Guide in the green shirt and purple pants. He can help you a little. After that, just wander around and don’t fight anything but chickens, so that you don’t die. You can pick up certain things, and deposit them later. We will now go over the basic actions of the game:

• Trading - This is likely to happen soon after you start if you choose to ask people for help. To trade, right click on the person you want to trade with and click on “trade with”.
• Fighting - Do not fight anything above your level. To find the level, right click on the thing you want to attack. You may not fight players in the game, but there are people you may fight when you are strong enough. When fighting, you have to do nothing. It will do it all for you after you click attack. To run away, click away from whatever you are fighting. (Far away is usually best.)
• Banks - Banks are where you deposit the items you have collected. You can tell where the banks are when viewing the map by where the red carpet is. To deposit your items, talk to a banker. (The men in black clothing)
• Using items - To use the items you’ve collected, right click on them and select “use item.” Then in the left-hand corner of the screen, you’ll notice the words “choose target.” You can now click on what you want to use your item on. Example: use the pickaxe with rocks, or the axe with trees, or the trees with the timderbox.
